The Kirchenwirt is located in the centre of the village of Feichten at 1,287 meters above sea level, surrounded by the unique mountain and glacier world of the Kaunertal. The rock flanks of the 2,879 meter-high Schweikert tower behind our hotel. The views from the windows and balconies sweep over the valley floor up to the surrounding peaks. The relaxed village life unfolds down the street and around the church throughout the year.
Hiking and mountain experience on the slopes and peaks of the Kaunergrat Nature Park - a treasure trove of alpine nature. Skiing fun away from the crowds on the Kaunertal Glacier. Alpine huts, sun terraces, toboggan runs, sports shops, swimming pools and bathing lakes? Everything there. The Kaunertal nature park and glacier region offers endless possibilities for your vacation all year round.
On the Kaunertal Glacier, slopes and deep snow slopes at over 3,000 meters above sea level appear in brilliant natural white from October to May. In addition, from December, Winterberg Fendels will open the turnstiles for a fine, family-friendly offer. And off the slopes? We go tobogganing here in the Kaunertal, hiking in the snow, cross-country skiing and relaxing.
